Dental Clinic Gains New Patients From Video Marketing (Case Study)

A dental clinic in the Pacific NW hired us to create several new videos for them, and their results have been noteworthy, gaining them quite a few new patients in the past month. Although they would prefer to keep the exact amount on the down low, let’s just say the videos have more than paid for themselves in the lifetime value of the new patients they have gained.

Last fall, they had just launched their new website last fall and we created a “Welcome” video that would be featured on the Home page, which was a big hit, receiving over 1900 views so far.

This summer they approached us to do a new series of videos. We shot 10 FAQ videos and they have been releasing one per month starting in October. Our strategy was to create a series of professional videos of the doctor so that people could get to know him, and then we ran Google ads from the videos to his website. It was a simple strategy, but very effective and it works in multiple industries (not just dental).

Each time we roll out a new video, in addition to the above strategy, they post the video natively to Facebook (to better connect with their fans) and run Facebook ads on the post (to drive even more views). Also, the doctor made a “celebrity appearance” in their town’s Halloween event.

From all of the above working together, in just one month they saw a definite increase in new patients. They feel the videos have allowed their outreach and belief in education to have an impact at the community level and say they will definitely continue to use video marketing as part of their ongoing efforts!
