Suite 4 has hired two interns through the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership internship program for summer 2016. Suite 4 is pleased to introduce our newest marketing intern, Danielle Nelson, as one of our 3 talented interns for the summer!
Although originally from Vancouver, Washington, Danielle spent most of her time in Richland, Washington prior to attending George Fox University. With a major in marketing and minor in art and design, Danielle brings a multitude of design skills and marketing experience to the Suite 4 team as a marketing intern. Originally a graphic design major, Danielle’s transition into marketing seemed only natural after discovering her love for small businesses.
Danielle’s love for working with small businesses was sparked by working one-on-one with several business owners to design marketing materials. This experience has grown into an interest in the future creation of her own business. Instinctively, she feels Suite 4, as a small business itself, is the ideal place to learn more about the fascinating world of inbound marketing and the comprehensive approach Suite 4 takes with each of its clients. She feels Suite 4 is a place she will be able to actively serve others in the community while utilizing her passions in graphic design, writing, photography, and social media marketing.
In her free time, you will find Danielle completing freelance graphic design work, exploring nature with her boyfriend and puppy, pursuing her international travel dreams, cooking up some pasta in the kitchen or creating in the dark room and pottery lab.
At the end of the day, living a life full of creativity is what is most important to Danielle. The following quote from one of her favorite authors, Elizabeth Gilbert, characterizes her life philosophy: “What is creative living? Any life that is driven more strongly by curiosity than by fear.”
